CPR Pro Certification for Professional Rescuers

This expert-level program helps keep healthcare professionals prepared and ready to respond in life-threatening emergencies. The course will provide instruction in basic life support, and how to respond to choking and other airway obstruction incidents. Safety First Jacksonville offers the “CPR Pro” course from the American Safety & Health Institute. The class for the Professional Rescuer has been approved for training for Emergency Medical Services personnel. It is accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). This CPR certification class is easy for your people, easy for your business, and easy for you.

Why Obtain CPR Certification?

CPR certification is required for many health professionals as well as those who work in schools and day care centers. Becoming CPR certified means you are well prepared to help in the event of a cardiac arrest or other breathing emergency.

CPR certification classes are offered by Safety First Jacksonville to professionals who are required to have a higher level of training than members of the community. It includes BLS (Basic Life Support) training and other important skills you can use in a professional setting, or in the community.

Intended audience for CPR Pro

This program is designed for those in the healthcare or professional rescuer field who are required to have professional-level basic life support training.  Note: Please confirm that your organization and/or industry will accept certification from the American Safety & Health Institute.  We have found that some entities will only accept American Health Association.

Class options

CPR Pro / Basic Life Support (Blended Learning*) 

*Blended Learning requires completion of an online course prior to meeting with our instructor for the practical skills portion and certification exam.
1-1.5 hrs, $50/person, 2-yr certification

With the exception of working with private groups who need the full 4-hr classroom course, this is the primary option we provide for students in need of CPR Pro.  The Blended Learning option provides flexibility for students and saves time in the classroom.  Contact Us (link to email) to request this course and get started on it.  We will schedule the practical and test portion at a time that works for you. This Blended Learning option is also available for private groups.  Please contact us to schedule.
