Learn Basic First Aid
The Basic First Aid class was created to help students develop basic first aid knowledge and skills and the confidence to respond. The program is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting, and is consistent with recommendations of the 2010 National First Aid Science Advisory Board and OSHA’s best practices for first aid training programs in the workplace.
Basic First Aid training is offered in a classroom setting, or available in an online version that is offered along with the classroom First Aid class. First aid training gives you the skills and confidence needed to respond in a medical emergency until professional aid is available.
Intended audience: Individuals who require or desire elementary first aid knowledge and skills; including emergency response teams in business and industry, school bus drivers, adult residential care personnel, child care workers, teachers, parents, babysitters and more. Community groups or organizations also can schedule first aid classes with Safety First.

Class options
Basic First Aid (Blended Learning*)
*Blended Learning requires completion of an online course prior to meeting with our instructor for the practical skills portion and certification exam.
45-60 min, $45/person ($30/person when combined with CPR), 2-yr certification card upon successful completion.
With the exception of working with private groups who need the full 3-hr classroom course, this is the primary option we provide for students in need of Basic First Aid. The Blended Learning option provides flexibility for students and saves time in the classroom. This Blended Learning option is also available for private groups.

3 hours, $45/person, 2-yr certification card upon successful completion

Community CPR/AED (Infant, Child & Adult) + Basic First Aid Combo
6 hrs, $77/person, 2-yr certification card for CPR/AED and 2 yr certification card for First Aid upon successful completion
This is a combined CPR/AED/Basic First Aid program designed specifically for laypeople. This program is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting.
