Safety First has two options for earning certifications through remote learning:
1) BLENDED LEARNING
For those who are local to the Jacksonville, FL area and are able to meet in person either one-on-one or in a small group of three or less (with social distancing measures in place), we have Blended Learning. Students complete an online course from the American Safety and Health Institute (that we provide) followed by meeting with an instructor to demonstrate the required hands-on skills. Courses available in Blended Learning at this time are:
Community CPR/AED (All ages) – $45
Community CPR/AED (Child and Adult) – $40
Community CPR/AED (Adult) – $35
Basic First Aid – $45
Community CPR/AED (All ages) + Basic First Aid – $75
Community CPR/AED (Child and Adult) + Basic First Aid – $70
Community CPR/AED (Adult) + Basic First Aid – $65

2) REMOTE SKILLS VERIFICATION
For those who either are not local to the Jacksonville, FL area or who would prefer not to meet in person for the skills verification session, we are now able to offer Remote Skills Verification (RSV). The process is nearly the same as Blended Learning (read above), but instead of meeting with an instructor in person to demonstrate the required hands-on skills, an instructor is able to verify your skills remotely through a live video platform provided by the American Safety and Health Institute (HSI). Additionally, HSI will ship the needed training materials to you (CPR manikin, etc) to use for your skills practice and demonstration, including a return shipping label for sending the materials back to them when competed in order to receive your digital certification card.
