Safety First CPR & Safety Training is seeking a reliable and professional individual to join our team as an Instructor.

For the right candidate, we provide certification training through the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI). Our co-owner is an Instructor Trainer and will support your onboarding and development.

𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Instructors are paid:

•A competitive hourly rate for classes taught

•Partial compensation for travel time

We provide on-site training at client locations throughout the greater Jacksonville area. We do not operate from a physical storefront.

This is a part-time, as-needed role. Hours are not guaranteed and are offered based on client demand.

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
Instructors will teach a variety of safety courses, including:

CPR/AED
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Basic First Aid
Babysitting Safety
Bloodborne Pathogens

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
We are looking for someone who has:

•Availability during weekday business hours (preferred and most important need)

•Some flexibility for occasional evening or weekend classes

•Strong communication skills and a professional, articulate presence

•Dependability and maturity in a client-facing role

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱
The following experience is helpful (but not necessarily required):

•Education or teaching experience

•Medical or healthcare background

We prefer candidates who live in or frequently travel to the Southside Jacksonville area, as supply handoffs and coordination are often needed. (Owners are located between Lakewood and Mandarin.)
